Hollyweird used to make pro-American films. Now it dedicates its money, talent and energy to making anti-American movies.
I think Hanks is a liberal crazy, but seems to be a fairly nice guy - most recently doing jury duty (which he could have probably ducked) and the comments about his behavior there. He did a very good job as the captain. The movie was well done and suspenseful. Not surprising that it was fictionalized - don’t know what movies aren’t.
People who are misled and uninformed can be nice people - frustrating certainly. It’s a rare bird that can hang around a group of Hollywood loons for many years and not take on some of their beliefs.
