Just days after the first round of global nuclear talks with Iran, a rift appears to be emerging between Israel and its closest ally, the United States.
Israel's prime minister on Sunday called on the U.S. to step up the pressure on Iran, even as American officials hinted at the possibility of easing tough economic pressure. Meanwhile, a leading Israeli daily reported the outlines of what could be construed in the West as genuine Iranian compromises in the talks.
Convinced Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes the Iranians are trying to trick the West into easing economic sanctions while still pushing forward with their nuclear program. Iran insists its program is for peaceful purposes.

No Need. 0b0z0 is already on the muzzie side agin' Israel.
It’s not a rift between Israel and the US, it’s a rift between Israel and King Putt the Marxist, Mooslim, Steaming Pant Load.

Nothing is going to stop Iran from nuking up. Get used to it.
As long as Obama and his filthy democrats are in power, NO COUNTRY should trust, rely on or befriend the U.S.A.-—especially Israel.
It doesn't take much to "trick" people into doing what they already want to do. Diplomats believe the goal is to talk. As long as they are talking, things are fine.

Agreed. The current regime are liars, thieves, snemers, and manipulators and will stab you in the back or assasinate you if it fits their needs
So, let me get this correct: Dear Leader and his Secretaries of State (Clinton and Kerry) are sucking up to the Iranian Mullahs who are working on nuclear weapons to destroy the Israelis. These same idiots have been trashing relations between the U.S. and Israel (and PM Netanyahu). The Huston Chronicle just discovers this after over five years and the Middle East has gone up in flames? Well, like “Duh”, dude!. The utter imbecility of the Mainstream Media boggles rational thought.
Not diplomats, democrats. They think talking is "doing" something. When PIAPS was the first pig, one of her favorite meaningless phrases was "the situation is being closely monitored".
“Not diplomats, democrats.”
On the contrary, the State Dept. pukes were exactly the same in Pub administrations. Reagan had the balls to stand up to them. GHWB and GWB all to often (with the exception of the first couple years after 9-11) deferred to them. G.W. Bush did nothing about Iran either. He ran out the clock and passed it on to Obama.

Here's the passage at issue:In the 1980s, the war caucus in Congress armed bin Laden and the mujaheddin in their fight with the Soviet Union. In fact, it was the official position of the State Department to support radical jihad against the Soviets. We all know how well that worked out.Let's leave aside for now the insulting, utterly asinine, sickening, inexcusable use of the phrase "war caucus" to describe those (including Reagan!) who supported the mujaheddin against the Soviets. That word choice alone is almost entirely disqualifying for its purveyor to ever be president.
Instead, let's just look at a little history here -- because the ignorance evident in this paragraph is truly astonishing. One would be hard pressed to find even a single historian, whether right, left, or center, who would argue anything other than that the Soviet failure in Afghanistan was not just a huge factor, but probably an essential one, in the Soviets' ultimate loss of the Cold War.
