I detect a trend here.
I’ll keep it classy....
Understood. Your restraint is admirable. :)
The sharks who still ply the Horse Latitudes & Equatorial Doldrums to this day in search of human subsistence now droop their dorsal fins in salute to Cong. Owens.
Because it reflects badly on me to do otherwise, I will say something GOOD here: I thought that the ADA was a TERRIBLE law and businesses and cities would go broke supporting it. This didn’t happen, and disabled people are walking and driving around, working now that they actually can get to work, spending money, and being part of America, instead of being effectively locked up. And, keep in mind that a lot of genuinely disabled people were “disabled” by Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and their supporters.
When I heard this the first thing I thought of was the speech he gave on the House floor talking about how sharks were still today swimming around an area of the ocean where slaves were dumped overboard or some such thing.
Rest in peace
Unfortunately, that’s the first thing I thought of too, and if you’ll notice, I linked the video of that comment in the opening post.
Dat be de one tirade he made where he said the sharks in the Atlantic still today follow the slave ship’s former course, in hopes of eating some more dead slaves— seriously the guy was a real moron.
160 plus year’s later sharks have memory from their parents on this— sharks, antedeluvians with no appreciable cerebellum or memory capacity? Stuff for a “roots” movie LOL.
Thank you.
Here’s the thing. The ADA didn’t help disabled people, it only hurt them. Employers became afraid to hire the disabled for fear of lawsuits.
But again, let’s keep it classy.....
Trust me, it was extremely hard. I wanted so much to say something.
Thumper Rule.
Finally some good news. The devil has claimed one of his own.
