DENVER — Rep. Jared Polis, Colorado Democrat, voted for Obamacare, but now he is seeking a waiver of the financial penalty for constituents suffering from a bad case of sticker shock.

“We will be encouraging a waiver. It will be difficult for Summit County residents to become insured. For the vast majority, it’s too high a price to pay,” Mr. Polis said in an article posted Wednesday by the Colorado health policy website Solutions.

The “law of the land” is supposed to mean something. Equal treatment of everyone.

If that is not going to be the case, repeal the thing.

He finally read the bill, eh?

Guess what Polis? It isn't just Summit County. obamacare stinks, period. obamacare is bad for businesses, everywhere. obamacare is bad for individuals, everywhere.

Why did you vote for this Polis? You helped bring this plight upon your constituents. I hope and pray they all remember that the next time you are up for election.

The ski areas are very expensive to live in. The people running the ski areas cannot afford the cost of living. If Obamacare chases the maintenance and ski patrol off the hill the rich pukes like Congresscritter Polis the poofter won't be able to ski.

Have a heart people. This fine "man" is just looking out for himself.

“it’s too high a price to pay,”

Too bad he didn't say this in defense of ALL Americans.

I have a solution. Everyone who DIDN'T vote Democrat in the last two elections is exempt. Anyone who voted for the Obamacare Party is stuck with it.

Nothing is fairer than that!

Hey Democrats: Why not just drop all pretenses and declare middle class whites (and all those without sufficient minority bloodlines) to be henceforth slaves of the rest of Amerika? After all, you can outvote them, right?

This is the de facto case now.
They just aren’t honest about it.

Same with all the information they are gathering on the Obamacare website. I’m sure they can correlate with 90+% accuracy, from the data given, what your voting tendencies are,

and will provide or deny care based on this.

Politicians in the resort towns trade cheap housing, free bus rides, government recreational centers, welfare money, food stamps for lobster [ remember the surfer dude ] , and more for votes.

These voters do not pay taxes.

Just like the old Soviet “Nomenklatura”. Amerika has it’s own form of Nomenklatura now.

Serious question here:
The district includes Boulder. There are a lot of Coors and railroad union people in this district too.
Back in the late 1970s or the early 1980s, the libtards, especially the hard-left commie libtards, were frothing at the mouth about Coors because it was non-union (except for the master brewers). Same as Walmart today.

So is Coors unionized now?

My next door neighbor was an engineer on the can equipment. He was union. He moved about 7 years ago.

He was one of those types that would not own a Toyota because it had to be American made. I showed him by VIN that his Chevy was a Canadian assembled, Mexican engine and Brazilian transmission. Then I showed him my NUMMI Corolla was American assembled with 72% US parts.

I'm union, he says. They would trash a Toyota in the lot if I drove one to work.
