Pitiful: Sebelius to blame contractors, not HHS, for Healthcare.gov problems in House testimony tomo

Not only is this an egregious understatement of her own culpability, it’s horrible politics. Everyone knows that when a political crisis strikes, the surest way to soothe public/media outrage is with a phony, half-hearted “the buck stops here” statement accepting responsibility.

Maybe it’s better this way. Why keep up a pretense of accountability at this point?

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will tell a House committee tomorrow the site’s botched rollout was the result of contractors failing to live up to expectations – not bad management at HHS, as the contractors suggested.

And at least half the country will buy every word of it. The media certainly will.

The first thing I want to say is, I take full responsibility for this mess. The second thing I want to say is, it wasn’t my fault. [/politician-speak]

Does anybody in this administration take the blame for anything that goes wrong?

"contractors must spill the beans about the Bizarre web site Obama wanted"

Won't happen, period. If you like your contract, then you can keep your contract.

If you say one word about the administration being made to look bad...........You won't need a health plan. You'll need one of those "final Expenses" plans.

Well, pshaw, I’d take the blame if I could walk away with a cool $600 million.

Of course. The site builders, commie appeasers and traitors though they may be, build a product in exchange for money, so it HAS to be their fault. It could never be some useless government eater who exists through the extortion from the productively employed. [/s]

Didn’t I hear that knucklehead say during the SNL skit this morning on Capitol Hill that the gubmint has hired the same morons who created this monster to teach it to play the violin?

She really doesn’t have a choice if she doesn’t plan on resigning.

Simple questions, “when did you tell Obama that millions would not be able to keep their coverage”?
Immediately after she answers then have her arrested for lying to congress.

No one who has to suffer from ACA (Obamacare) will buy any word of it.

Obama and Sebelius promised us that Big Government could handle it.

They lied and we now know they lied.

Unless she had a conscience. or ??

Actually she looks like a beaten up old woman. Maybe she should sue her boss for employee abuse — having to take the fall, and try to defend the indefensible. She should be so lucky as to be thrown under the bus, and take her gov’t benefits and retire to seclusion.

Instead she is thrust out there to take the heat. Yes, she is incompetent and was unable to implement a mere software system.

Well I guess I am saying she should be smart enough to just RESIGN! How much more abuse does she willingly subject herself to? and for what?!? They will willlingly throw her under the bus when it suits the purposes of the regime. Why DOES she continue to humuliate herself, and whatever reputation she has left?
