86% of Americans are not going to get ‘tax credits’, they will be pushed into Medicaid (welfare) instead, which is basically a single payer system like the wanted all along.

Mr. Chairman, the report ignored the fact that under Obamacare, the 85% of Americans with employer or public coverage will see little change in premiums or coverage because of the law.

The Republicans’ report ignores the impact of the Affordable Care Act’s tax credits to help cover the cost of insurance premiums. According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), 86% of Americans who receive coverage through the new Affordable Care Act Exchanges will receive tax credits, reducing costs by an average of over $5,000 per year. These tax credits will help make insurance affordable for millions.
