Inept techies and sneaky insurers are the bane of Obamacare
Los Angeles Times ^ | October 31, 2013 | By David Horsey-Wanker

... Obama did not lie, but neither did he acknowledge the possibility that insurance companies might pull out the rug from under their own satisfied policyholders.

Liberal criticism of the healthcare law as it was being written in 2009 centered on the fact that it left insurance companies as the powerful middlemen at the center of healthcare delivery in the United States. Obama and the authors of the law rejected the liberal critique because they saw no way to win passage of healthcare reform unless they could turn the insurance lobby into an ally, instead of an adversary.

Obama made a deal with a crafty devil back then and now he’s learning what kind of partner he has.

This is Horsey-Wanker! What Obamacare has really done is destroy the insurance industry’s ability to create and maintain cost-effective risk pools for individuals. And it only gets worse from here.

Ah, LAT, LAT, once again you exhibit your unbound stupidity.(Oh, forgot, you are journalists.)

YOUR inept (and very low IQ president) is the reason for the bane of Obamacare, not inept techies and sneaky insurers.

YOUR cretin couldn’t get hired as a janitor in an insurance organization and most certainly would be laughed out of any programming organization.

He is a quota baby.

Just in case you didn’t get that: HE IS A QUOTA BABY with no ability to do anything save play on his race. And he’s an embarrassment to his race.

Really.

The website failed a load test of a few hundred users yet it is the fault of the techies and insurance companies that it was deployed anyway?

The insurance companies were given no choice about terminating certain plans but it is their fault that such is happening now?

What a pinhead.

This is all good.

This article is a sign of the increasing desperation BHO, the Democrats, and their believers are operating under.

There attempts to blame everyone and everything that had nothing to do with passing of this law tells me they know how bad as the months go on this will get for them and the progressive dream

I had to see the comments at LAT. They did not disappoint.

President Obama has done a magnificent job dealing with domestic and international problems inherited from the Cheney/Bush era. The ACA is flawed mainly as a result of republican obstructionism and exploitation by insurance companies. The current criticism by ingnorant idiots is expected and would be expressed no matter what due to racism and hatred for anything that is designed to help the entire country. The critics are two groups; 1. the rich fraction of 1% who want to own everything and destroy the middle class and 2. the brainwashed fools at all socio/economic strata that have been brainwashed by the media and the right-wing, anti American think tanks and pundits. But, the slow steady progress of the people will continue and the republican racists will eventually fade away, not completely but enough to provide opportunity for progress.

Insurance didn't pull the rug from anybody.

ACA made the policies ILLEGAL.

The LAT actually speaks some truth. But the idiots think that the insurance companies are the crafty devil.

The LATimes is performing its duty. Their attack on the insurance companies is for one reason only: Single-payer insurance is the only thing that can save us now!

No, the insurance companies made the deal with the devil and THEY are going to find out what kind of partner they have.
