Next November and in 2016 will afford all of us to send a ‘collective’ BARF to DC and toss the smelly ones into the trash bins of history.. And seal the lids.

The Dems are counting on :

1) The % of Americans affected by this is small esp with the employer mandate delayed
2) OF them in #1 many will get medicaid or a subsity, so will thank Obama for that ‘gift’
3) Media will grow bored with this
4) GOP will over-do it, or maybe shutdown the government
5) Americans will grow bored with this

So they just lie and wait it out.

I tend to agree with your post.

I think most Dem voters won’t be affected

waivers, subsidies, medicaid, etc let them skate

Free transportation too. They even took care of loose ends.

It’s hard to find regimes like that these days.

Uhhhhhhh..

Although if they get a subsidy and their exchange insurance is either the same or worse than the one canceled, even after the subsidy, Lower benefits/cost to them+subsity, that will still get them mad. (”I still pay more AND you waste our tax money??’)

Dems hope over time people forget what they had before, like Orwell 1984,

I hope you are correct.
I’d wouldn’t bet my next pension check on it though...

Consider Nov 2012 when I felt no POTUS could be re-elected with 8% unemployment, $4 gas, surging food prices, and trillion dollar deficits to infinity.

Sadly I believe we’ve passed the tipping point in entitlements and demographics.

I didnt say GOP will win in 2016, but they will probably pick up more than few seats next year.

I was pretty sure Romney would lose especially after the two conventions. Too many reasons to list.

Rush was telling his listeners that Obama was almost certain to lose because things were so bad, said all the polls were fake and everything else pointed to a Romney landslide.

I scoffed at the idea. It was depressing to know that for months on end. Rush gives his listeners temporary false hope.

Way to stick it to the single largest provider of job growth, you morons. Small businesses.

And that is their intention.

The bourgeoisie is the communist's worst enemy.

Bingo!

“How many of these people will have thought they have signed up only to find out they have not”

Just watch...

Jan 2nd we’ll see stories of people going to get refills at the pharmacy. They will still have not received their insurance card that is “in the mail.” After an hour on the phone trying to figure out who the Pharmacy Benefits Manager even is, the rep on the phone will say “I have no record of this participant. Refer them to the 800 number on the back of their card during business hours.” The card that they never got, because their policy was never even issued.

x 100,000,000.

You could be right.

I had a devil of a time signing up for Medicare.

Between the website and the 800 number I spent a lot of time.

I actually put my app in as soon as I was eligible (3 mos prior to my 65th birthday). I’d call up and they would say “we’re working on the apps for people closer to their birthdays”. I’d say “well then why does all your info say to apply early?”

At least most pharmacists can make an educated guess as to which benefits manager to call for regular plans like AARP and Humana...

I’d have no idea where to start with an “exchange” plan. Maybe by March or April there will be a post it note next to the computer “Virginia Bronze - BCBS : use Paid Prescriptions phone#”.

“I apologize for your six hour wait for a pain pill. I had an “exchange” customer come in right before you.”

Omg, lol.

IIRC, it takes 4-6 weeks for a policy to go through and take effect.

In this case just 15 days. If someone is fully enrolled and pays their premium by December 15th they are OK. Premium pay cutoff date may even be a little later.
