Latino groups hope immigration has impact in Va. governor’s race

Matthew McClellan, executive director of the National Council of La Raza Action Fund, said the get-out-the-Latino-vote groups are making more than 75,000 calls over the next few days leading up to the race.

In addition, they are conducting door-to-door campaigns, putting up advertisements in Spanish-language media and sending direct mail to almost 27,000 households.

“The Latino community is tired of talk and demanding action,” McClellan said. “Saying the right thing is not enough and we will be looking for action after is over.”

Hector Sanchez, executive director of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, said it is not an exaggeration to say the Latino community has been under attack especially when it comes to immigrants.

Hate crimes have increased 45 percent against Latinos and Latino workers have become more vulnerable amid an anti-immigrant environment, he said.

“It’s very important for everyone to turn out to the polls, to analyze where those candidates are and make sure those candidates are representing Latinos on issues that are critical for the community,” Sanchez said.

I sure hope the Republicans in Virginia are on high alert and are able to quickly detect and publicize any and all “voting irregularities” next week.

You know the LIEberals are going to make a massive effort to LIE, cheat and steal votes in order to win this election.

Look Sharp, VA Republicans! Stand tall and conFRont the LIEberal cheaters!

The Democrats won Congress in 2006 by ginning up a bunch of Latin Racial hatred.

They intend to do the exact same thing for 2016.

ARE WE READY FOR IT? Or will we fall for the same BS we did in 2006?

The best counter to this is none too subtle. In Spanish, put out that if McAuliffe wins, Latinos will remain Latinos, and have nothing more than what they have today. But if Cuccinelli wins, Latinos have a chance to be Americans, like other Americans, and have a better future for themselves and their children.

This would be a powerful message to Latinos, many of whom understand the American dream, and want it.

Illegal aliens vote in large numbers in Virginia.

The SEIU canvasses and registers them and no one at the registrar’s office ever checks.

George Allen lost by a few thousand votes to lose Republican control of the Senate. The margin was more than made up by the number of illegal aliens voting in Northern Virginia.

RE :”the Dem has been running ads on spanish speaking radio stations. I don’t know about cuccinelli.”

I believe it.
Those groups see immigration reform slipping away fast after months of the MSM claiming the GOP was all in for it, “Because they need it”

So if they can beat Cuccinelli they hope they can scare GOP like they did a year ago to maybe pass the Senate bill.

Also this is there last chance for a while to nail a Tea Party Trophy kill, and while Christie wins big same day. Most figure 2014 will be ugly for Dems.

What kind of crazy logic is being used here.

The illegals vote for left wing hands outs and think by voting in a block against Ken that will win them favor ?..

It actually proves the point to stop them from ever being legal.
they are thugs and welfare trolls.

Why didn’t the Gop clean up the voter roll at the state house ?

RE :”Why didn’t the Gop clean up the voter roll at the state house ?”

Not that easy in a ~ 50-50 Purple state and with all those federal lawsuits under voting rights act that GOP re-passed in 2006.

Why do Latino Americans favor citizenship for lawbreakers?
If Latinos prefer lawbreakers, we don’t need to import any more of them.

......the conniving National Council of La Raza Action Fund is doing a "get-out-the-Latino-vote" .... hoping a McAuliffe win will exert pressure on Congress to pass "immigration reform"....

La Raza has a lot of $$$$ irons in the political fires. Read on.

=================================================

EXHIBIT ONE----The Senate immigration “reform” bill includes two "neverending slush funds” amounting to hundreds of millions of tax dollars, earmarked for tax-exempt La Raza organizations.

EXHIBIT TWO---LA RAZA TEACHING HATE-AMERICA WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS "La Raza Studies" do not even try to sugar-coat its anti-America agenda and its bloodthirsty plans to kill off Americans: Raza Studies textbook “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a violent and blood-curdling speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is, if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323). The following is taken directly from La Raza's Occupied America: “.......execute all white males over age 16,” (p 167--AKA the Plan of San Diego).

America-hating Raza Studies teach (1) violence, (2) undermining US ntl security, and, (3) the need for Mexico to "re- take seven states in the Southwest...in order to make the SW a Chicano nation."

===================================================

EXHIBIT THREE----Just before the reform procedural vote, Judiciary Committee member Sen Grassley offered a simple amendment to the Judiciary Committee considering voting the immigration bill out of commmittee.

"The secretary (of homeland security) may not grant registered provisional immigrant status to an alien under this section unless the alien fully discloses to the secretary all the names and Social Security account numbers that the alien has ever used to obtain employment in the United States," said Grassley's amendment.

Grassley's amendment would not have prohibited illegal aliens from being converted into legal aliens just because they had used names and Social Security numbers that did not belong to them. It would only have required that the illegal aliens make the names and numbers they used known to DHS before they could be granted the right to legally live in the United States.

Grassley said, "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more. This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

===============================================

EXHIBIT FOUR ---- ON RECORD AS AIDING AND AETTING FELONIES Dismissing Sen Grassley's proposal, ranking Dem member Sen Schumer said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer. The Senate Judiciary committee defeated Grassley's amendment 8 to 10 on a party-line vote.

====================================================

EXHIBIT FIVE----The Senate "reform" bill also absolves latinos holding US public office ---including those from VA---from prosecution for wrongdoing while in office.

=====================================================

EXHIBIT SIX---- Senator Harry Reid Supports Giving Illegal Aliens Tax Credits for Kids Not Even Living in US .....Townhall.com

U.S. Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, left, wants to end the practice of giving illegal immigrants tax credits for kids, but U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., won’t let the House-approved measure H.R. 556 through the Senate.

"The System is Working Fine" says Senator Harry Reid, even though the Joint Committee on Taxation calculates that enactment of H.R. 556 would save taxpayers $24.4 billion over the next decade. The House repeatedly has passed an IRS bill that could save U.S. taxpayers up to $24.4 billion but Harry Reid’s Democratic Senate will not hear it. The Refundable Child Tax Credit Eligibility Verification Reform Act, or H.R. 556, would require tax filers to provide Social Security numbers to claim child tax credits.

Currently, the IRS allows undocumented residents to collect the $1,000 credits for dependents not even living in the country. Watchdog reported that illegal immigrants received $4.2 billion from the tax agency in just one year.

Though the GOP-controlled House has passed Rep Johnson’s measure three times, Senate Majority Leader Reid, D-Nev., refuses to allow the bill to come up for a vote in his chamber.

Rand Paul’s immigration speech

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
