If the Tea Party was losing influence, Democrats would avoid mentioning it.
The reality is that Obamacare is angering many moderates and Obama supporters with the loss of their plans and high substitution costs.
2014 will be a referendum on the ACA. Watch the Democrats in close races try and claim that they we duped into voting for the ACA.
Once this monster starts to snowball down the mountain, we will need to do everything possible to hasten its demise.

The plan to bring in Obama was made when McAuliffe was polling 12-17 pts above Cuccinelli. That lead has all but evaporate. We can only hope O’s appearance sinks McAuliffe further and brings those claiming they’ll vote Libertarian over to Cuccinelli.
My impression is that in general the expansion of early voting has helped Dems more than Repubs.
The Dems really howled this year in NC when the Repub legislature cut back on early voting.

My mom lives in VA. I am not at all optimistic about a Cuccinelli win. He would have to be polling 10 - 15 points ahead of McAwful. I just don’t see it happening. Only way is if perhaps Sarvis would drop out but that is unlikely. A recent poll showed that 47% want Obamacare to stay. That says a lot about our nation - and that is a very real problem for this country.

Cuccinelli is behind among women because McA has used the usual Dem scare tactics about the Neanderthal Repubs wanting to take a "woman's right to choose" from them--and because modern "educated" women are terminaly stupid when it comes to killing babies. They have been brainwashed and do not seem to care about a tiny human's (not a fetus, a baby)right not to be tortured and it's right to life.
What about a woman's "right to choose" her insurance coverage? VA women should get exercised over that and quit drinking Dem koolaid.
