Percy Schmeiser is a liar who got caught trying to violate an agreement he signed with Monsanto. Monsanto tried settling out of court with him, but he wanted nothing to do with it. Schmeiser lost every case. It wasn't even close. He has managed to turn his lies onto a great gig on the speaking circuit, however, where he makes a lot more money than farming ever provided by telling Luddites, morons, and occupy capitalism collectivists what they want to hear.
Percy Schmeiser has proven, yet again, that P.T. Barnum knew exactly what he was talking about.....and that no one every went broke underestimating the intelligence of illiterates.
With both of us picking on him, he'll run to mommy for sure.
Maybe she can help him with the science, she can't know any less than he does.
I agree, this is not a conservative vs liberal issue. This is a health issue. I chose NOT to eat GMO food.

Thanks, I watched a documentary called Vanishing of the Bees which correlates a link between GMO’s and dying bees. It does something to the pollen and they can’t find their way back to the hive.
Many of my fellow Vietnam War veterans are suffering from cancers caused by Monsanto’s Agent Orange and many vets have died and are dying from the effects of Monsanto’s herbicides used in Vietnam.

I’ve been reading the information on bee colony decline for years-periodic decline appears to be cyclical in nature-so it must have a purpose-but GMOs and some of the new “biosafe” pesticides are likely contributing factors now. I find it very interesting that we didn’t see massive bee declines when DDT and those other effective pesticides now considered “bad” were in use-so how really “biosafe” are the new ones? Sounds like we’d better go back to the stuff that really worked...
There are just small farms and ranches around here, no big AG-this is a poor, rough place-fit for people who want to be let alone and tourists, so there are plenty of bees around, as always. There are a number of self-employed people in this area whose incomes include money made from keeping some bees and selling or bartering honey. I’ve thought about turning my hand at it, but I’m not that fond of insects.
I suppose this just might constitute a personal attack, not that I haven’t crossed the line before.

So many of the chemicals they’ve put out have been shown to cause damage, but DDT was way too cheap and effective.
When I was little, my dad was stationed in PR-every few evenings, all the kids used to hold/tie something over our nose and mouth and run behind the sprayer truck in the cloud of-OH NO!-DDT-still no ill effects...
