Maybe he'd be a good Senator for NJ, as well.
Perhaps he'd even be a good cabinet officer, like head of OMB or the Labor Dept.
That's about it.
Yes, he won a big victory - for himself. Here's what he didn't do:
1) Have any coattails in the state legislature.
2) Help out the Republican Senate candidate by having the 2 elections on the same day...but that wouldn't have made for such a large victory for himself (and maybe that was part of his deal with the Dems, to ensure a lack of funded and endorsed opposition).
3) For that matter, he could've appointed a Republican to fill Lousyberg's seat, but chose not to do so (and the reasons above may well apply here, as well).
4) He didn't bother to even make a single speech for Cuccinelli, nor even a single 30-second TV or radio ad. That lack of support for a fellow Republican running for governor of his state will be remembered.
He's not Presidential timber - though the Lamestream media would like him to be the sacrificial lamb Republican nominee in 2016. Oh, BTW, polls on Tuesday night show him losing to the Hildabeast IN NEW JERSEY. Some great candidate, he won't even carry his home state, despite winning a statewide election by 22 points!
If you created a fictitious Democrat who was Hispanic and female and ran a poll of her against Christie, she would be within 10 points right off the bat. Run one story about her, and she would be within the margin of error.
You posted good information about Christie that I hadn’t heard before. Thanks.
