I’ll bet 75% of the “low-information” crowd don’t even know they’ll be fined if they don’t sign up.

They’ll find out when it’s deducted from their refunds...just in time for the 2014 campaign season.

Until their Earned Income Tax Credit doesn't show up because their tax refund has been confiscated to pay the fine.
THAT will be fun to watch when it starts happening on a large scale.

A poll taken a month or so ago (can't recall the pollster, but it was widely reported) showed that 69% of young adults did not know they were mandated to purchase insurance or pay a penalty. Presumably with all the hoopla, more are aware of that fact by now, but possibly not.

For most the 'fines' will be less then the insurance would cost, at least for the first few years.
Young people could care less about 'fines'.

I’ll go you one further...I’ll bet 50% aren’t aware there’s a Obama-initiated health care fiasco going on. Because a great percentage of Obamatons do not pay attention to anything outside their lives of handouts and hitting the crack pipe.
