Rush Limbaugh tackled this on his Friday program ...

I'll tell you. If you look at the exit polls, there's something there. I may get a little trouble for this strain of analysis. But you look at Cuccinelli, and Cuccinelli beat McAuliffe in what I call the... This is where I'm gonna get in trouble. I can't think of another word for it, so I just call it the "wholesome" category: Married people, people that work, people who are self-reliant and all that. He won them in droves.

Cuccinelli Won the Wholesome in Droves

Ping!

The only way we win this is to flip it on them.

Show who really has the war on women.

They’ve been sold a bill of goods since Ms Magazine.

this idea of sexual liberation, of no fault divorce, of birth control, of being treated like a man. Look what’s it’s gotten everyone. Special protected classes. Men and women at odds over everything. Double standards because women aren’t men. Makes men dislike women further, makes women more depressed they can’t measure up in certain things. Turns off men that might be on their side save it costs them personally due to favoritism policies. It’s the left’s backhanded compliment that women can’t do it on their own, they need the libs to make things easier for them because they can’t do it without help. These people have told women lies. Lies like they can have it all. Career, kids, leisure time, and nothing will suffer. MEN NEVER HAD IT ALL. Women were told being at home was being in chains. Too easy and not a real job, that’s why you don’t get a paycheck. Conservatives didn’t feed them that line.

Let’s start talking about who’s really been at war with women the last 60 years.

Maybe the GOP should just claim that the Democrats are also waging a war on women. That would be just as untrue as the Democrats’ claim, and maybe it would confuse voters and cancel out the issue.

The War on Women™ has been an enormous success, beyond the wildest dreams of its creators - of course they will keep it up until somebody, somewhere, beats it.

Win first and then change minds. Too bad. We might be winning every election if we concentrate on the economy. Most single women would rather starve than be unable to terminate a pregancy.

That ‘rats continuously hit Republicans with the same tired arguments election after election - War on Women, hate the poor, favor the rich - and Republicans never seem able to think up any sort of effective retort or even in fact to see the attacks coming is one of the Wonders of the Modern World...
