When I lived in Virginia Beach, one of the local colleges began to excavate a British Cemetery near Gloucester. It had been the site of a British military hospital during the revolution.
They got a letter from the British Embassy asking them to stop as they did not want their soldiers bodies dug up. I think they did stop.
We recently received this heart-warming message and thought we would share it with you.
