But many inside the Beltway and elsewhere seem shocked as Americans must deal with the ramifications of a health policy that its own government created, but now can't manage. It's no longer Republicans who are using the word "lied" when referring to the president's healthcare debacle.
"Had I been informed (about the healthcare.gov website), I wouldn't be going out saying, 'Boy, this is going to be great,'" Obama told reporters, sparking a ripple among news outlets who diplomatically were forced to concur: if he didn't know, as president, who did and why didn't they tell him? Most notable, some allow, is that no key administration official charged with the healthcare rollout has been fired.

Seems to me if I was in charge here some heads would have rolled. This “roll out” was elementary and fundamental to anyone who had oversight of this fiasco. But no, they double down awarding a fix contract to those who screwed it up the first time. It also seems to me if I had paid someone to do something and they completely failed to perform the contract, they would either be doing the fix for nothing or paying a penalty for an item that was not provided on time. So when O dope says responsibility lays with me he should resign due to malfeasance. He neither held anyone to task nor did he ensure the public pocket book was protected.
This is the most damning statement to come out of this whole mess.
They're only NOW discovering that insurance is complicated? And these morons had the unbelievable arrogance to think that they could take over and run 1/6 of the U.S. economy, because they were to stupid to know that insurance is complicated?
This is the lesson of liberalism that any idiot could have learned over the last 100 years merely by looking objectively at history.
I once dated a left-wing Obama-loving college professor, and had many occasions to socialize with her friends and colleagues.
One night at a social gathering, I very politely explained to them the concept of the "invisible hand," and the "broken window fallacy," which they somehow had never encountered in pursuit of their advanced degrees. These concepts were completely new to them.
A few weeks later, one of the couples to whom I had introduced these concepts invited my then girlfriend and me to dinner at their home. During the dinner, the concept of the invisible hand came up again in the discussion (I'm not the one who introduced it into that conversation).
The hostess' husband -- an insufferable, over-educated and pompous fool with great delusions of intellectual superiority -- having had a couple of weeks to ponder the concept of the invisible hand to which I had initially exposed him weeks earlier, derisively dismissed it by saying: "It's a joke."
I learned during my time with her that lefty intellectuals actually have no idea what conservatism stands for, and could not even articulate its basic ideas. All they knew was the stereotypical left-wing slurs that they had internalized during years of immersion into the lefty "intellectual" echo chamber of academia.
It was quite an eye-opener for me.
A lot like Obama's team. No one knows what's going on, but everyone is afraid to say anything against Dear Leader, because ... there are consequences.
And the reason that morons are running things is also the same: the only requirement for high office is complete and total loyalty to Obama. They have declared themselves to be smarter and more competent than all the rest of us, but they are really just more loyal to the ideology and person of the chosen leader.
Oh, another country that works that way is North Korea. How’s that working out for them?
Democrats are still befuddled by the thermos bottle. It keeps hot things hot, it keeps cold things cold, how does it know? They have awarded a $500,000,000.00 grant to MIT to find the answer.
They don’t need to know. All they need to know is to follow orders.

He knows exactly what he’s doing...This failure was meant to happen and the millions losing their insurance was hoped for. Obama’s goal is the total destruction of capitalist America and his “rebuilding” into a socialist wonderland (for the elite). The rest of us will have to work for scraps and support him and his minions. The USSR in the 60’s and 70’s are prime examples of what Obama wants for America....

These people arrogantly comfort themselves that just because they got the degrees that they’re smarter than anyone else and unfortunately the institutions of “higher learning” and employers go along with it. In many cases it’s a scam that never ends up getting called out. IMO.

First the crony company hired to do the job was a siphon to the public trough, and, second, they figured, wrongly, that America would come to its senses and oust the commies bastards, so, their work would never come to light as a fraud. It was designed to not work and cannot be fixed, because, the logic behind the law was flawed, people are too stupid to notice premiums and deductibles double.
It's funny. These Ivy League Lefties, bill themselves as "The Best and Brightest", but they took courses consisted of regurgitating the commie crap that 0bama worships and got by on affirmative action.
