Local Charlotte media is trying to paint this as a case of "crazy homeschoolers", and local media comment boards are full of the lefty anti-homeschool talking points.

Nevermind the fact this lady was a government worker. In charge of investigating child abuse, no less.

.......it’s funny, I can always tell when it’s the Amish and I can always tell when it’s white trash! I’m reminded on this story of the South Vietnamese Colonel and the photograph of him executing the Vietnam Cong person. These two people deserve exactly that for intentionally harming these young children not only physically but mentally.

And, I am a little miffed at the neighbor for seemingly “under” reacting to the little boy running up to him saying he was hungry. I would have been ALL OVER what the hell was going on in that incident and bought the boy 5 pizzas on the spot while waiting on the cops and the pizzas to get there!

After that, I doubt the boy would EVER have gone back to the house as I would have done everything I could have to stop it.
