I am all for states experimenting on their own ...

The "50 little 0bamacares" is literally true.

Last year’s Republican presidential nominee told NBC’s David Gregory that as president, he too would have demanded that all Americans have health insurance; but unlike President Barack Obama, he would have ordered the states, rather than the federal government, to figure out how to make that happen.

I forgot the details of what Romney was claiming as 2012 was pretty painful to watch.

Because in 2012 Obama rolled out a bunch of popular freebees : Pre-existing conditions funding, birth control, kids on insurance till 26 and no unpopular ones, and still standing was the promise of insuring 15 million uninsured at no cost to the rest of us. That all sounded pretty good to voters.

So Romney kept getting asked by media : How will you insured the uninsured? What is your plan?

No way to compete with Obama fantasy promise.

So Romney made something weak sounding up.
