NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police have arrested four men in connection with an assault in Brooklyn.
The suspects allegedly hit the victim without warning, similar to recent incidents related to the so-called “knockout game” in which mobs of young people randomly sucker-punch innocent people for fun.
Around 2:45 a.m. Friday, investigators said a 24-year-old Jewish man was surrounded by four men and punched in the face on 18th Avenue in Borough Park. NYPD officers were nearby in an unmarked police car, commissioner Ray Kelly said Friday afternoon.
The victim told investigators he heard one of the attackers say, “I’ll do it to this guy,” right before he was surrounded and punched, sources told CBS 2.The suspects fled, but were quickly apprehended and taken into police custody, sources said. The victim identified the suspects, police said.
“I commend the excellent police work that we saw this morning,” Assemblyman Dov Hikind said in a statement. “I am grateful that these four thugs are off the streets and am hopeful that they will be treated with the severity of the law. I urge continuing diligence in dealing with this issue.”
Hate crime detectives were interviewing the four suspects — three Hispanic men and one Indian male — and the victim at the 66th Precinct, sources said.

Some in the media, as well as in politics, may think that they are trying to avoid provoking a race war by ignoring or playing down these attacks. But the way to prevent a race war is by stopping these attacks, not trying to sanitize them.
If these attacks continue, and continue to grow, more and more people are going to know about them, regardless of the media or the politicians. Responsible people of all races need to support a crackdown on these attacks, which can provoke a white backlash that can escalate into a race war. Had the perps been black, this story would have never seen the light of day.
Borough Park is a heavily Jewish park of Brooklyn. So young black men are targeting Jews for aggravated assault for the sheer animal pleasure of it. The Jews & their friends should find courage in the example of how Israelis handle such matters, and set up stings - with men on hand armed with baseball bats - which later are still legal even in New York City.
They love to keep the black community riled up and full of rage against whites but they do not want whites to know that they could be in danger. The officials and media have an obligation to the public to keep them informed of the dangers in the community.
What is needed is a guard to try to knock each of these kids out with one punch every day until they go to trial.

It figures that black attacks would catch on with other sub-human thugs. Hispanics feel the need to compete with blacks for scumbag awards. That brings it closer to home for me, but I’m not particular about the color of the thugs I shoot. I belong to the rainbow coalition of self defense.
There are 2 black suspects in Philly’s Knock Out Games.PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — “Knockout” attacks have been reported in several states around the country and now investigators believe three people have been attacked in our area.
Police in Lower Merion are investigating two attacks in the area, and Philadelphia detectives are investigating an attack in Northeast Philadelphia.
It’s a violent crime that in other parts of the country has proven fatal.
Videos from cities around the country show people being punched and beaten at random.
The attackers are calling their crimes a game, the goal being to knock out the victim with one punch.
Mark Cumberland is a victim of a “Knockout” assault.
“Someone asked me for a cigarette and by the time I got my hands out my pocket I was getting hit by four kids.”
He says, “It was hard seeing and I’m still having trouble breathing and swallowing.”
Cumberland was walking out of a Fox Chase pizza shop on November 11th when he was attacked.
“There’s no reason at all. I mean, I didn’t get robbed, they didn’t take nothing from me. They just beat me up.”

If you're going to target unsuspecting victims, doing it in places like Borough Park, Williamsburg and Crown Heights isn't a good career move.
