The writing was on the wall. As the deadline approached, there seemed little doubt that the latest recall effort would gather the needed signatures to qualify for a vote. That left Centennial State Dems with two options: 1) let the vote happen and risk a third defeat along with the loss of control of the state senate or, 2) kick the social media maven to the curb, allowing Governor Hickenlooper to appoint another Democrat to the seat. Now, according to denverpost.com, theyve chosen door number two . . .
By resigning I am protecting these important new laws for the good of Colorado and ensuring that we can continue looking forward, Hudak wrote in her resignation letter in regard to her gun votes, which led to the recall effort.
Its likely she wasnt given a choice by the state party. And while this may be the smart political move, Colorado Second Amendment supporters can claim a third successful takedown of an anti-civil rights legislator. Who will be next?
Can you recall an appointee?
Chickenpooper is going to appoint a Rat replacement.
Me likey. Now if the good folks of Colorado could only get lickenlooper to resign. Colorado used to be such a great place. Until the kali cartel took up residence.

Holy! May we see many more such resignations. One less socialist legislator!
Well done. Keep those dominoes topplin’.
doesn’t the appointee have to be part of a special election?
“Who will be next?”
Throw Governor Hickenlooper out on is enormous ego and introduce him to the unemployment line.
Watch for Hudak to get some cushy state government job inside of six months.
“Chickenpooper is going to appoint a Rat replacement.”
Is it within the power of the governor of Colorado to appoint a state legislator if there’s a vacancy? The governor here in MA has no such power. There’s always an election.
Just for sheer spite, Chickenchoker will appoint a moonbat lefty such as to make Hudak seem like Annie Oakley in comparison. He’s that petty & vindictive.
By doing this, Mr. Hickenlooper thwarting the process and (figuratively) mooning the electorate; and, making 2014 and 2016 interesting Novembers in the great state of CO.
“Watch for Hudak to get some cushy state government job inside of six months.”
She’ll be keeping all the special interest money dumped into who campaign account also I’m sure.
My understanding is that either the governor or the Democratic Party (not sure which) will appoint a replacement, who will be up for re-election in Nov 2014.

I don’t know but the political machine here in CO resembles CA back 20 years ago.
Go after the appointee immediately. People will rush to sign the petitions. We need to show the RATs that we won’t tolerate their gaming the system.
