BRIDGEWATER— After the story of a lesbian, ex-Marine waitress who claimed she was left an anti-gay note in place of a tip caught worldwide attention, she promised she'd donate the replacement "tips" she started receiving from supporters to the Wounded Warrior Project.
But the organization, which supports injured service members, couldn't verify it had yet received any donations from Dayna Morales, who has been off the schedule at Gallop Asian Bistro since a couple claimed the note was a fake, Patch reports. [snip]

I'll bet a lot of us have sniffed out fraud in dozens of these cases, ever since the Tawana Brawley fiasco ... which many of us knew was a hoax from the git-go. (I started a list a couple of decades ago, but forgot where I put it.)
It's gotten to the point where the default position of reporters *should* immediately be to be suspicious of an attention-seeking motive on the part of the alleged "victims'" ... and to investigate the "victims'" credibility, rather than rushing into print, credulously reporting the claims. But I have yet to see this happen.
Guess who I assigned to lead or point when I suspected a mess?........She sounds like she's still trying to "get over" using her Military career...Good Luck Baby!....Your turn in the barrel...
