A “bipartisan deal”. That’s assuming of course that there are still TWO parties.

Paul Ryan had way too many of us fooled in his VP campaigning.

Both parties support big government and big spending. We are going to get plenty of parsing of words and plenty of lying. There will be tax increases (they will be called fees and other increases in revenue); there will be an end to the sequester for the next two years to assuage the crony capitalists (many of them in the defense industry) and an increase in government spending balanced out by some ambiguous cuts in out years; and there will be no entitlement reform—just some cuts in federal pensions and increases in federal employee retirement contributions.

As long as there are no tax increases, I guess I’m OK with it, as I don’t think a protracted battle and any talk of another shut down help the republicans at all.

I think if the dems can be forced to agree to no tax or “revenue” increases, it’s a win for us, because that is their holy grail.

As long as it is in the aggregate personal interest of individual reps and three term reps to spend us into bankruptcy . . .

The socialist have the RINO’s so scared of a government shut down, they are simply giving away the store to avoid a shut down.

This is why Americans’ are sooooooo fed up with this out of control administration and the RINO’s who bend over backwards to support them!

Just came out in the news, (Drudge) that numerous Republicans are in love with Obamacare!

Bi-partisan? Communist Murray and RINO Ryan, those two (2) really represent the American people, NOT! Ever wonder why the budget negotiations were conducted in secret and behind locked doors? Now you know why!

FULL SPEED AHEAD with the coming collapse! The government can NEVER do with less; the Free Stuff Army needs more, More, MORE! Print, tax, spend, rinse and repeat, in a bipartisan way!

There is a reckoning coming, and it won't be pretty. Some will die. But these politicians don't care.

Whew, thank God. I was hoping we wouldn’t attempt to ever put our fiscal house in order.

So in exchange for spending more money, what does the GOP win?

The deal would require federal workers to make larger pension contributions

Well, now...nothing wrong with that.

Paul Ryan is a lightweight. He demonstrated this in his “debate” with that other moron Biden.

Why cut spending when you can just print more money? Geez, these people don’t have a responsible clue.

So the article says this spending that Ryan negotiated out of the budget, the Dems are simply going to pass separately later. Typical.

Murray also said that congressional leaders are discussing the possibility of extending some expiring federal benefits for the long-term unemployed but that such legislation will not be included in the two-year budget deal.
