I think its more likely the girlfriend got emotional and wanted to get a little revenge, knowing how the media will side with her. When she realize she could be charged for false filing, she backed down

No one in the media took the bait for her story, so now she wants him back in case he wins the NBC case & tons of money, IMO.
Zimmerman can't seem to get his head on straight....(& who can blame him)
I wish his brother or parents would do an intervention and spirit him far away to renew himself.

Sounds like the local Law and DA want to corral GZ in any way possible. Egg on their face with the acquittal and all that. They need to be careful because GZ is a high-profile personage.
