The man accused of faking sign interpretation while standing alongside world leaders like U.S. President Barack Obama at Nelson Mandela's memorial service said Thursday he saw "angels" at the event, has been violent in the past and suffers from schizophrenia.

If he signs like he speaks, it might not be the signing that was the problem. Accurately signing gibberish is still gibberish, who’s to say which came first.

What’s the big deal? Jay Carney does exactly the same thing every day.
Someone is going to take the clip, and work it like that Hitler movie clip....where people insert their own comments over what was really said. For the Obama administration....this will be around for decades and be some historical reminder of the comic episode.
Maybe they could've had Garrett Morris shouting off to one side for the hard of hearing.

Is it a farce? Yes. Is it ludicrous an impostor was allowed within inches of the President and all the other dignitaries. But there is a silver lining. This news story is eroding away the ‘celebration” period for Mandela. The less time focusing on this communist, the better, from a news-cycle standpoint.
Now if we can just do something about the cocaine snorting communist that regularly dominates our news-cycle.
Gutfeld was having a field day with it on Red Eye. He wouldn’t let it go.
