Q: How happy are they, Jimmie?
A: Happy as a Kenyan learning he’s just been elected President of the United States.
I took it as (so to speak) a throwaway joke.
Shot at by WHO? Who did they think were shooting at you?
If the owners of a family farm with a worth in excess of $10.5 Million can’t get a loan, it’s probably not Warren Buffet’s fault.
Q: “How happy are they, Jimmie?”
A: “Happy as the couple that get to keep their health insurance and not sell the house to pay for it.”
Q: “How happy are they, Jimmie?”
A: “Happy as Nancy Pelosi learning that her next face lift will be covered by Obamacare.”
That wasn’t my premis. The heirs wern’t seeking Buffett’s loan, he was bottom feeding at their misfortune.
No, I didn’t see it that way at all. I like the Gecko.
I think I passed the "want to seriously dislike" stage when GEICO got caught handing out free radar equipment to law enforcement agencies - in the late 1970s. Sure, it's likely that other companies have sone similar things - but GEICO we know about for sure.
My point is that the federal estate tax only applies on those estates with a net worth in excess of $10.5 Million. Someone worth $10.5 Million who can’t be bothered with estate planning is hardly a victim of Warren Buffet.
I have already called my senators and are actively involved in getting them both replaced as they are RINOS. But thanks for the general reminder..... it is always welcomed.
Now, are you saying that we should all drop all other FR subjects in the meantime? Oh, I am quite sure that the libs would support you on that idea. There are advantages to multi-tasking and keeping a wary eye open to other stuff going on behind our backs.
i got tghe feeling it was more about the historical tea party as a Brit lizard
lol
why do we analyze fictional advertisement cartoon lizards utterances
did they do this to Nast?
” Its mascot is a Gold dust day gecko with a Cockney accent, voiced by English comedian and actor, Jake Wood.”
Well, ok then.
How ironic that Buffet uses insurance companies to avoid taxes. It's the major key to his success.
GEICO is the worst insurance company bar none...
They’ll do anything they possibly can to make sure they don’t pay out or pay as little as possible in a settlement.
They’re all about taking your money and have little concern about anything else.
Don’t walk, run from GEICO...
Thanks for the advice, Dragnet....... actually I have been with State Farm for going on 45 years now. Have not had a reason to leave them.
Commies, assorted third world rebels. Muzzies were not yet a big problem back then.
"Send in the Marines" was the slogan. As Hallmark is fond of saying, "When you care enough to send the Very Best!"
(modest, too!) :-)
Them and Progressive. Why would ANY “conservative”, or even “libertarian” for that matter, want to give money to an insurance company whose very existence is used to prop up “progressive”/Socialist causes?
