"Folks who psychoanalyze cartoon characters should take up a hobby." I am not psychoanalyzing the adorable wee gecko. I am just wondering how the marketing people at Geico and the upper management who approves of their campaigns, can possibly think this would go over well with many potential customers..... that is unless they themselves think that the Tea Party movement is a joke.

A cartoon character who, if it really existed, would be a British subject, makes a reference to the Boston Tea Party and we are all so arrogant (or, perhaps, ignorant) to imagine that it is intended as a veiled insult to 21st Century fiscally conservative Americans. Really?
