Bill OReilly: Duck Dynastys Phil Robertson made a mistake
Cheryl K. Chumley, Washington Times
Fox News Channels Bill O'Reilly, host of The O'Reilly Factor, said Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame actually erred with some of his biblically-based comments about the sinfulness of homosexuality.
Mr. O'Reilly, a self-proclaimed Christian, honed in on one specific part of Mr. Robertsons much-publicized quotes in GQ magazine the condemnation aspect.
Mr. Robertson, I believe, made a mistake by the condemnation line, he said, Politico reported. Its not about the Bible, or believing or not believing in the Bible. Its singling out a group, it could be any group, and saying to that group, Hey you are not worthy in the eyes of the Lord, or in the eyes of God. You are not worthy because of who you are. So once you get that personal, once you get down and into that kind of a realm, problems arise.
Mr. O'Reilly said his own views of Mr. Robertsons remarks are based in the Bible, too. His guest conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham disagreed, calling his view just wrong, Politico said.

Sorry Billy. Telling the truth is never a “mistake”.
Except for agreeing to do an interview with GQ, he didn’t make any mistakes.
Hey Bill, it's not about who they are but what they do!
Hmmmmmm- - - - ?
Looks like Billy O’R is a certifiable Obamacrat!
I actually like O’Reilly but he’s not telling the truth here. Phil said let God sort it out - O’Reilly is not telling the truth here.
Now, is there any doubt that Billo is allies with the enemy? As onyx has pointed out, that channel is indeed Faux News. It may be the best we have have but that’s not saying much.
Note to FOX.
You lost this viewer forever because of O’Blowhard long ago.
Dump this pompous @sshole.
Mark Levin made me laugh when he said that FNC should hire Phil Robertson and put him in 8 pm time slot, Bill OReilly’s
You mean a “mistake” like sexually harassing your producer, Bill?
Bill needs to figure out what would happen to gays in the rest of the world...He's another one that goes to church with a dusty Bible with crisp clean pages that never been exposed to light.

I can’t believe how many people who think they are conservatives still fall for BOR’s line of crap. Phil Robertson paraphrased St. Paul, and it was very nearly a direct quote. BOR is trying to get brownie points with Jon Stewart and Bill Maher.
Probably the only group the Apostle Paul excluded from salvation. He said “such will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaver”. I suppose if they repented and quit being active in their perversion, then they could be saved.
Hey Bill, ever hear of Sodom and Gomora? Ok, probably spelled that wrong and I doubt it will be in spell check.
As far as a mistake, there was a theory proposed that he did this on purpose to get out of the contract because he/they didn’t like what A&E was trying to make them into; staging arguments and such. There might be something to it. But the Rush fill in had a great line:
Evil pleads for tolerance until it gains dominance. Then it seeks to silence good.
He nailed that one!
Come on O’Reilly....
Robertson also made a natural law argument, ie. “it’s just illogical dude” or something to that effect.
Poor Bill. He’s been trying to straddle that opinion fence so long i’m surprised he hasn’t fallen off one side or the other and really hurt himself.
Why is the liberal point of view considered to be so intelligent, when it is so easy to debunk? They have to misrepresent facts to come anywhere near a cogent argument.
Give the fist half of his time slot to Laura Ingraham. Give the second half to Phil Robertson, with a closing commentary by Uncle Si.
The fence is going up his behind like a luffa sponge
