A majority of Americans today do not have the stomach to fight the Federal government. A majority of American adults don’t remember what it was like to win a war. A majority of American children don’t know what it’s like to live a life of privacy, piety, and liberty.
As a 33 year old white Catholic male, I envy my elders who are beginning to fade into history and I disdain the generation of my parents who further facilitated the decline of America. While I would fight, I would not do it alone, and I know too few people who believe the same as me.
A majority of Americans today do not have the stomach to fight the Federal government.

Most will not get off the couch to even attend a Tea Party rally or protest. Most will never express an opinion or concern to their congressman. Many will not bother to vote. Few make any effort to be informed about even the basic issues effecting their lives. The sad reality is that many Americans are passive and/or indifferent about politics. And they deserve the government they get.
Precisely the same was true for the American Revolution (best available statistics showed a split of about 1/3 for, 1/3 against, and 1/3 "neutral"), but we got through that.
Not true at all.
The sleeping giant has just gotten up.
