Latinos are wary of signing up for Obamacare because of fears that the information they provide might be used to deport themselves or family members.
"They're scared," Ledy Ordonez, 43, who lives in Fremont, Calif., told the San Francisco Chronicle. She has a clothing and jewelry stand at a farmer's market in Oakland. "They're afraid if they put in an application for their children ... they'll get deported."
While enrollment figures are not available yet from the Obama administration, healthcare advocates say fewer Hispanics are enrolling in the Affordable Care Act because of such concerns.

So let me get this straight . . .
Illegal aliens, who should not be here ‘cuz they’re illegal, who are working and not paying taxes, even though they should not be here ‘cuz they are here illegally, are afraid to sign up for something they should not receive ‘cuz they are here illegally, because they are afraid they will be “discovered” and subsequently deported ‘cuz they are here illegally.
Seems like a pretty smart cookie to me. Maybe the really smart cookies like this should be allowed to stay ‘cuz even though they are here illegaly, they’re smart enough to not get caught? s/
I have never signed up for free government crap in Mexico, but I ate at a Mexican restaurant last month. They did not give me the food for free. I did have to pay. I had to use my own money. They floated me no loans, gave me no food stamps, and did not provide me an obamaphone to call relatives for support.
So, there’s no free lunch in La Cantina.

That’s the way I understood it as well...
All illegals who have had kids here are ALREADY on medicaid. They get better healthcare than citizens on other insurances. They may be transferred to some form of Obamacare but there really isn’t any reason why they would want to change from what they are already on.....BECAUSE IT’S FREE and they can keep having more kids and get mucho dinero!
They work the system and democrats are making sure they get everything they deserve including, food stamp credit cards, cell phones, rent subsidies, snap, WIC, i pads and the list goes on and on and on.
In addition, head start (free babysitting service), picks their kids up every morning right outside their house.
The illegals are already getting free healthcare. Why sign up now?

healthcare.cov also has a fiunction to apply for SNAP benefits.....for those lastinos lusting after more tax-subsidized programs to add to the multiple givt checks they already cash:
UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,
TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),
WICS (food assistance),
subsidized Section 8 shelter,
ObamaPhone subsidies,
Utility Assistance subsidies,
$5000 a year EITC checks per identity,
hefty monthly "asylum" checks from SS ....
Plus large amounts of assets---cashed w/ several identities---wired offshore---prolly from stiffing US banks for fraudulent sub-prime mtges (which we taxpayers had to bailout).

REFERENCE---A Stockton, Calif illegal used a fake Social Security number---probably committed multiple crimes and felonies, including stealing SS nos, falsifying official documents, forgery, conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretenses, etc etc etc.
