Religious and community leaders outraged by last week's so-called knockout game incident gathered Sunday to call for an end to racially motivated violence.
"It's an assault," activist Deric Muhammad said Sunday. "It's a crime against an innocent person."

Oh, I see. Ah, remember when the Left used 527s to attack Bush non-stop during the good old days of the Bush-Kerry race, but when the Swift Vets came out, there was all this talk about “Now, now...we need to stop these 527s”....Same rule applies to the knock-out game. OK for liberals/blacks to do this, but when the tables are turned, then you hear the chant for “coming together as a people” and promoting racial harmony.

He effectively stopped it from becoming more widespread, I think. Whether that was his intention or he was just mad, I don’t know.
And it is well past time when self appointed leaders of ethinic groups only stand up when someone in their group has been wronged, but sit on their hands when one of their own is the one doing the wroning. These days its not just one side being wrong, it is a two way street, and everyone needs to relearn the parable about removing a board in their eye before they try to fix some other group's splinter. So much racial progress could be made by just having leaders correct the people in their own group.

The multiple assaults by Black animals on Whites and others including the deaths are all meaningless. It only becomes important to these sacrilegious pontificators and so called community leaders to call for an end to the madness when one sick White man attacks a elderly Black man. As usual for them race trumps all.
Its way, way too early to say he stopped further knockouts. This case has succeeded in getting more black community leaders to admit that a real problem exists. I expect the black on white attacks to slightly increase in that geographic area for a while, owing to revenge assaults. The more public exposure the assaulters receive, the less cool and justified it will become. It will be similar to the months of Occupy violence, when spring and summer return, we will find out if the pace has come. to a stop or did it all just slow down and get switched indoors to the warm shopping malls.

If he’d wanted to troll the liberals there are pleny of ways to do it. If somebody had staged a white/asian on black knockout then waited for the outraged howls for example.

I don't know if attacks will rise or fall, but attacks on whites have been going on for many decades. I am sure it will continue ad infinitum into the future. The government, however, will never allow the reverse to happen. I really am that cynical of government.
Someone pointed this out at the recent Judiciary Committee hearings—that the parties should be more critical of themselves than they are of the other party. We need to become a bit more Japanese. We don’t have to fall on our sword, just speak the truth about our own party.

People are too lazy to figure out what to believe on principle, so they flock to their tribe and what is good for their tribe and what is good for them in a narrow sense.
