I understand exactly where you're coming from and in no way am being critical or have the desire to admonish you, but New York City is nevertheless part of the US and would not wish this sort of government on anyone, let alone upon fellow Americans.

It's tragic enough that we are being subjected by this sort insidious left-wing, liberal creep from the Federal Government, and now having it erupt from another highly influential, fundamental vantage point is no time for any American to be getting out the popcorn.

New York City's influence goes far and wide across the nation as a social laboratory of sorts, where many of the programs, services it initiates serves as incubator for other cities to implement, emulate.

Certainly not anything I would consider fun to watch.
