I'll be there with my kids and their families. IMO it should be done at a time in the year when the weather is generally good. Late summer maybe.

This can't be a spur of the moment thing, it has to be planned with plenty of time to get the word out and let potential attendees adjust their schedules.

Screw the waiting. We could get a million there with two weeks notice. The time has come. The sooner the better. If the Right To Life March can get 500,000 in winter then a million will come for this.
But I do agree summer would be much more comfortable.

Early spring in DC is generally good weather. Has to be when the congress is in session. Washington empties out in may to September IIRC

Summer in DC is stifling hot. 100 degrees+ not unusual and 90%+ humidity. We will be scraping participants off the sidewalk.

I agree with spring if the events can be put together by then.

Summer in the Washington D.C. area is hell. I lived in Elkton, Maryland, for 18 years. I **know**. Horrible place. And...the mosquitoes are as big as humming birds and blacken the sky with buzzing clouds. ( Ok! I am exaggerating but only about the mosquitoes.)

It would be a much more powerful message if it was spontaneous.

I agree. I can’t go anywhere spur of the moment. Let me rephrase that. I can’t go, stand around DC with a sign, then come back home, with nothing having changed spur of the moment. If I’m in, there needs to be an expressed mission: Make them obey us, not make them hear us.
