Once you arrive in DC, where will 10 million people park their cars and the buses for groups. A million puts a serious strain on facilities. Two back to back short planning period events were Glen Beck and Jon Stewart and friends. Metro, the subway system recorded a little over 500,000 trips for the Beck event and 800,000 for the Stewart event which was more spontaneous. People I know in town walked 2 and 3 miles to get to them. There were huge secure “corrals” for bicycles about 1/3 mile away. Totally filled.
