Many Jews in that area are orthodox. Their style of dress, both for men and for women, is unmistakable.
Orthodox Jewish women cover their hair with either a kerchief or a wig, and dress modestly. How dare they. That deserves a bash on the back of the head./s

In that neighborhood, someone who is dressed modestly in a long skirt wearing a hat or a very good wig is probably an Orthodox woman.
If someone is wearing traditional Hasidic garb, there is an excellent chance that person is Jewish.
