I made my own wood stove with my trusty welder, and have sense made a few modifications to it. It’s about ten years old now, and when I need another one in ten or fifteen years, I’ll make it the same way.
When I was a teenager we took the old coal burning stove out of my great grandmother’s basement. We put a sheet metal jacket around it and hooked it into the ductwork of our house and burned wood in it.
