Agree! Gates was College President at Texas A&M before W got him to come onboard. He did not then and does not now need book sales for a living.

I wished he had refused to stay on when the Kenyan moved into the WhiteyHut, but maybe he felt he could resist and actually make a difference. With hitlery snuggling up to nobama for her run, his expose’ just might shed enough light to push a few more away from progressives looking for power.

Gates angered me mightily at the time because simultaneously served as a apologist for whatever Obama could come up with and a symbol of how Obama is post-partison ("look, Obama kept Bush's defense guy and he says what Obama is doing is fine so it MUST be good"). I'd have rather had some dem hack trying to sell the White House policies than a guy who gave them actual credibility because he had served more than one administration. Now after he actually helped give Obama wings, he wants to say "Don't blame me, I never agreed with any of it". I'm not yet ready to forget.
