North Carolina Rep. Mike McIntyre and New York Rep. Carolyn McCarthy will not seek reelection this year, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with their plans – marking a blow to Democratic efforts to win control of the House. Say what?
I am aware of no serious political analyst--Stu Rothenberg, Charlie Cook, Larry Sabato, or anyone else--who thinks that the Democratic Party has any real chance of retaking the House in 2014.
The Democrats will be doing well, I believe, if they can retain control of the Senate; which they may--but it should be a very close call.

just a friendly suggestion: when posting the name of a politician, no matter house or senate etc. after the name put either (R) or (D). We of other states have no idea who these people are and have no idea which party they belong to. Yes , you did put it in the dialog but more important to put it in the headline. Aloha

I'm happy to see that witch McCarthy leaving. She has milked the murder of her husband by a crazed gunman on a train full of unarmed people for years in her attempts to overturn the Second Amendment and make the rest of us as vulnerable as he was. She has also been an unrelenting Liberal in everything else.
No matter who takes her place, it should be an improvement.
