"A gifted orator, Bowers’ political ideology is unknown."

"Some of these leaders have passed this information along to Graham’s campaign, which according to one staffer views Bowers as a “credible threat.”

This worries me. Ideology unknown and those he talks to communicate with Graham's office?? He may be a Graham shill so that even if Graham gets below 50% and Bowers comes in 2nd, Graham would win the runoff. We'll see.

DeTreville F. Bowers, Jr. – pastor of Christ Church of the Carolinas – has reportedly raised the prospect of running for Senate in conversations with several social conservative leaders. Some of these leaders have passed this information along to Graham’s campaign, which according to one staffer views Bowers as a “credible threat.”

A native of Estill, S.C., Bowers spent two decades as a lawyer before earning his Master of Divinity degree from Columbia International University in the mid-1990s. He served as an associate pastor at downtown Columbia, S.C.’s prestigious (and politically connected) First Presbyterian Church prior to becoming the lead pastor at Christ Church.

We don’t need another horse in this race...keep diluting the field and Graham will win in name recognition alone.

How many does this make now challenging Graham in the Primary? The more the merrier. SC has a run-off, if no candidate gets 50%, does it not?
