(CNSNews.com) - Seventy-four percent of the U.S. military personnel who have given their lives serving in the Afghan War died after Feb. 17, 2009, when President Barack Obama announced his first increase in the number of U.S. troops deployed in Afghanistan, according to CNSNews.com’s database of U.S. casualties in the war.
In the more than twelve years that have passed since U.S. troops first entered Afghanistan with the aim of removing al Qaeda from its sanctuary there, 2,162 U.S. service personnel have given their lives in and around Afghanistan in support of U.S. military activities in that country.
1,593 of those 2,162 U.S. casualties—or 73.7 percent—have occurred since Feb. 17, 2009, when Obama announced the first of his multiple increases in U.S. military personnel deployed to Afghanistan.

Anybody remember that was after Obama had a committee reviewing Afghan and Iraq theaters for months, then came up with the COIN strategy with half-assed support?
He campaigned on ‘Afghan war being the right war, the necessary war’ which he didn’t believe one iota, then resented being ‘forced into a war time president’ (puke! the pos wanted the CinC perks but not the actual job).

I am at a fundraiser for a Great SEAL who died two summers ago. We are doing it in conjunction with the movie Lone Survivor. Great man, great family. He too died in this Afghanistan battle . Prayers up to his family.
I’m sick to death of the MSM leading every single night and day with the military body count during 0bama’s Presidency. Sick of it. They’re obsessed with it. Poor 0bama can’t get a break from them.
As cynical as it sounds, we’ve now come to realize the truth of what drove him to the escalation in Afghanistan. The same reasoning for the massive reliance on predator drones and huge casualties brought about by the collateral damage in the death of innocent bystanders, evisceration of entire families of which only serves to inflame hatred against the US, one in which feigned outsized concern about in his speech in Cairo.
I have always believed that Robert McNamara should be tried for war crimes for his role in Vietnam as Secretary of Defense. But for the Commander-in-Chief to do it? It is nothing short of high treason.
That was also the same time Obama announced the time frame for troop removal.

And we have a state that has lasted for years now with the US not pursuing victory at all. Just being there so our troops can be sitting ducks. And they're almost entirely forbidden to respond with force.
But that is Bush’s fault. Not Obama’s. Remember, he got RID of all those Bush officers and replaced them with kiss @$$ Obama lovers.
