No. Not “targeted”. I shopped at Penney’s for years; had their credit card. Then, they “transformed” into a junky, crowded place with racks and racks of cheap imports and quirky ads featuring “Ellen DeGeneres”.. then, stuck to their guns; then, quickly, transformed into a sparsely furnished place unable to make up their minds. - Shopping is exhausting enough without all the drama. Maybe one day they’ll settle down and decide to act normal. I don’t like sex being shoved in my face at every turn.
At one time they sold good quality clothing. It seems that poor management may have doomed them.
I kind of liked The Regular Guy Look...
(perfect for picnics, where you can be your own tablecloth)
...it's rain'n men!..halleluiah!...
lol
“Fashion Interpretation for Straight Guys”
no thanks
LOL, I remember that!
Does Woolworth even exist any more?
'Real-life dads'...ROTFLMAOPIMP!!! Sure, queers...whatever you say.
Those are all gay centers. They’re trying to move away from their gay clientele. I guess JCP will now feature Duck Dynasty clothing.
It was more like an AGENDA. At least that’s what it came across as every time a sales leaflet came in the mail. They couldn’t just sell clothes and household things like bedspreads? How did that work out for them? People don’t forget crap like that.
Aww crap. The one in my town is staying. Sometimes you cant catch a break.
I must have 25-30 60/40 cotton/poly blend polo shirts from JCP. Never have to iron.
they chose poorly
I agree.
Cry me a river. JC Penney would have turned over in his grave if he knew his name would be tied to this current company. JC Penney was once a great store. It is now a politically correct wasteland.
May JC Penney and Montgomery Ward rest in peace.
May the PC homo idiots that ruined this company rot in Hell.
