Funny that former Transportation Secretary LaHood is out yapping about the need for higher gasoline taxes to pay for fixing up our roads and bridges when the trillion dollar “stimulus” bill was supposed to take care of all that with all those “shovel-ready” jobs, which Obama later laughingly admitted never existed - LaHood keeps bleating about there not being enough money to fix the infrastructure, but if those shovel-ready jobs weren’t there, where did the money go - a rhetorical question - Rush had it right - it went to engorge the unions’ pension, retirement, and health funds - and I suspect to fill a bunch of hidden slush funds which will be used to try to elect ‘rat politicians in the future.....

Not to detract from your corruption catch, but Claire McCaskill’s (D-Missouri) husband got thirty million for his section 8 housing company (that I CAN document).
