They are closing the store near us in Phillipsburg N.J. We don’t go there but we do go to other stores in the mall. I hate to see the loss of jobs. Our County (Warren) is having a tough time in this winter of recovery and this will not help. The P Burg mall will lose an anchor store and probably close. That is not good for our County as most people will go across the Delaware River to Pa.
See post # 51 (about the Xanadu Mall here in northern NJ); that whole situation speaks volumes about the future of this region (and much of the country). A huge, empty mall across from a weekly flea market where people buy everything from groceries to power tools to musical nstruments to bicycles.
