I boast of the grace of Christ and get called on the enemy of grace, which is pride?
I have far to go yet and maybe my manner might please you in the future a little better.
But in the meantime I think you should also hold that mirror facing your own self.
What do you want me to be like, the luke warm Christians you walk among?
I’m like the blind man who not just got back his sight, but can see further than the sighted!
“I boast of the grace of Christ and get called on the enemy of grace, which is pride?”
I didn’t call you “the enemy of grace”, I said you can come of as one who likes to lecture others in a snobbish way. I guess another word would be condescending.
“What do you want me to be like, the luke warm Christians you walk among?”
Actually, I don’t walk among the “lukewarm” at this Church anymore. The Pastoral staff were becoming Lukewarm in their message. Too afraid to tackle any politically correct tough issues of the day. Their philosophy was: “We have to tell them what we’re for, not what we’re against.” I guess they missed the studies of the Apostle Paul’s Letters at their respective theological seminaries.
Actually, a look in the mirror is good for all of us.
