Stop drinking soda and you will lose weight.

I don’t buy this “study.”
Twenty years ago, when I an overweight teen who was tired of being picked on for it, the first things I did were cut out sugary drinks and snacks as well as become more physically active. Dropped 40 pounds in three months and I’ve never put them back on by following the same regimen. No regular sodas, no sugar, regular activity.....all better for it.
Now, each has their own body chemistry so mileage may vary but I don’t see how advocating for more calories in one’s diet is a way for them to lose weight. Take in fewer calories, burn more calories, and voila....
