Tea Party Express, the nation's largest Tea Party political action committee, will host the official Tea Party response to President Obama's State of the Union Address directly following the Republican response. Senator Mike Lee will deliver the Tea Party response at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and will focus on issues that are important and unique to you and me.

For the Tea Party movement, 2014 is not just about taking back the Senate, but it is also about putting forward conservative ideas that will allow for America to prosper. Senator Mike Lee has been both a Tea Party hero for supporters across the nation, and a conservative leader in the Upper Chamber. He has introduced tangible policy solutions to some of America's biggest problems. We are honored to have Senator Lee deliver Tea Party Express' 4th annual Tea Party Response to the State of the Union.

Since the President has been re-elected, the debt has continued to skyrocket and unemployment has ticked up, but he has offered no solutions and has shown no leadership. In contrast, Senator Mike Lee has put forth solutions that would spur economic growth and rein in Washington's out-of-control spending. We are excited that Senator Lee, a conservative leader and strong voice for the Tea Party movement, will be offering our perspective on the state of the union.

Tea Party Express hosted the first ever Tea Party State of the Union response in 2011 with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.  Herman Cain and Senator Rand Paul have also delivered our response in years past.

It was interesting to see the media get all upset because Joe Wilson said that out loud in the House when Obama was talking (well actually lying.)

They were all upset saying no one had EVER done anything like that before.

And you can be sure the speech in Spanish was quite different in some of the more important areas concerning immigration.

BREAKING: Obama's SOTU to be most partisan ever

We are hearing from our inside sources that the President plans to deliver a highly partisan State of the Union speech that resembles a campaign trail speech rather than an address to Congress. 

Word is that it will be more of a DNC convention speech, rather than addressing all Americans.  Worse yet, President Obama will lay out his power-hungry plan to bypass Congress and the Constitution when either one are not agreeable to push forward his liberal agenda.

Since President Obama's speech will only address issues important to the Democratic base, it makes our Tea Party response to the State of the Union all the more important. 

We must reach new people with the Tea Party message so we can continue to grow this movement.

I do not want to watch the POS Nigra tonight and then the sellouts to hear the real deal.

Maybe the TP need to start sending out some notice to us hard working individuals that are keeping the government afloat. I love Lee, Paul and Cruz. These are the guys that I will go to the ground for and will pull the trigger with.

Obama did NOT say that the “Union is strong,” he said “that it is Americans like you that make the Union strong.”

IOW, Benghazi Rescue was not a battle that needed to be fought.
