Walmart might be causing some distress on local grocery stores too. How in the heck can they make any money if someone orders 50 lbs of sugar with free shipping? They keep gradually adding more and more stuff at competitive prices that is eligible for free shipping. Either they got a purpose or they are stupid, and I doubt the latter.

I get 50 lbs of sugar through local distributor a lot less expensively than that.

I don't think that happens all too often. Who would need 50 lbs of sugar? I think it takes a year or two for my household to go through a 5 pound sack.

My wife buys stuff on line from them. Usually anything over $50 is free shipping. They tell you it will take about 5 working days for delivery. The last 3 deliveries arrived in less than 24 hours. Don’t know how they do this.
