My solution (I’m in CA and work in a city with a bag ban—SF—and live in a county with a bag ban—Alameda): I now do nearly 100% of my non-grocery shopping via Amazon prime, which delivers nearly anything in 2 days. I end up with a lot of cardboard boxes to break down. I get groceries delivered right to my door with Safeway.com. I have a big family and don’t want to mess around with cloth re-usable bags, pay for paper bags, etc.

All the bag bans do is turn people even more to online ordering.

Thanks for the idea. How do Amazon Prime prices compare to the local Safeway or even wallmart?

I will never use those disgusting reusable grocery bags.

It’s my feeling that they want to make us feel poor before they actually make us poor.
