On Wednesday, Sen. Ted Cruz had a short message to New York pro-lifers deemed persona non grata by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Come down to Texas, he told them in a tweet.
"New York pro-lifers in DC for @March_for_Life may not be welcomed back by @NYGovCuomo, but you're always welcome to march on down to Texas," he tweeted.
"I would love to come live in Texas. It's very frustrating to keep seeing all the stuff that Cuomo is doing," one person said in response.
And it seems there's room in Texas for pro-life conservatives from other states, Twitchy reported.
"On my way from Minnesota. Make room for a fellow conservative," another person said.
Last Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, revealed his inner fascist when he declared that pro-life conservatives are extremists who "have no place" in his home state.
"The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if thats who they are and theyre the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because thats not who New Yorkers are," he told Susan Arbetter on The Capitol Pressroom.
By that definition, not even Pope Francis is welcome to visit the Empire State as he opposes abortion -- something at least one MSNBC host was shocked to learn.
Cuomo has come under withering fire from conservatives, with talk show host Sean Hannity declaring that could not wait to get out of the state,

Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
I echo this call. Conservatives in New York, you have ZERO chance of changing your state, and we all know the DemonRats are trying desperately to tip Texas into the tossup column. If you all migrated down there, it would set them back decades.
Happy to report I was able to get out of that socialist cesspool and now enjoy all the benefits of living in the great State of Texas. The only thing I miss is the Adirondacks. The difference is night and day!
I guess it’s only Republicans that need that “bigger tent”.
Looks like New York is shrinking their tent.
Just imagine what it smells like under their tent.. I mean, REALLY! .. YUCK!
We are two Nations masquerading as one.
Wrong response! Ted Cruz should march into New York, give a Tea Party speech breaking every left-wing tabu in sight, and then, getting eyeball-to-eyeball with Cuomo, say “I’ll leave when I get damn good and ready!”
Please come to OHIO! We’d love to have more pro-lifers!
"Sorry, we're closed!" - The Republic of Texas
Actually Superbowl will be held in NY State in 2014.
We ain`t goona be throwin` no footballs.
We never retreat from no communists scum.
We stand and fight.
We ain`t no lily-livered cowards.
If you think Kiev has Fireworks, we got the 4th of July.
“Unwelcome”?
Them`s fightin` words.
We`uns up here is arm`d and very very dangerous to communists.
I thought they hate "yankee transplants from up north" moving to Texas. Make up your minds.
On a related topic, 1835 New York City had many "Texas Committees" where those interested in the cause of Texas independence met to hear about recent events in Texas and contribute to the cause. The papers of the day are filled with notices that read "Defend the Texians!"
I imagine many young New York men emigrated at that time.
Not that I wouldn’t want them here in TX but it would be more effective if they would march to Florida or Ohio.
Just sayin...
