I agree, however, I’d actually like to see him as Pres Cruz’ AG.
I’m going to rock the boat with this comment. Personally, I am not on the “Ted Cruz for POTUS” bandwagon.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE and RESPECT Senator Cruz more than you could know. He is a true Patriot, Brilliant Constitutional Lawyers and a fine family man.
That said, he has only been in the Senate for 1 year. Prior to that, he served as Solicitor General for the State of Texas for 5 years.
He has never run or managed a business. He has absolutely no Foreign policy experience at all. His forte’ is the Constitution. Period.
I do not believe that he is ready or experienced enough to step into the Oval Office at this point in time.
I do believe that his intellect, personality and understanding of our Constitution makes him extremely qualified for the positions of either Senate Majority Leader or Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
PS: I do have a degree of “insider” familiarity with Senator Cruz, not that this means anything at all.
