I don't know if you remember the movie or not, but it was a real hoot. Don't know why, but this reminded me of it.
The plot centered around aliens having invaded planet earth, and the populace was being brainwashed by big billboard sized signs.
You had to have special glasses to see the signs and aliens (otherwise the aliens looked like normal humans).
Wish we had some of those glasses. I suggest the above is what Obama really looks like all the time.

The Movie was “They Live”. Directed by John Carpenter and starring Roddy Piper.
They filmed some scenes in the Parking Structure of the L.A. Bank of America Data Center where I used to work.

I've tried to find it on the net based on your description but no luck so far.
If you recall the name let us know.
